The wireless WSNet 2D handheld scanner SLS 200 captures barcodes and data matrix codes at the push of a button and transmits them wirelessly to the WSNet Gateway GLC 100E.
The SLS 200 is a lightweight and robust one-hand scanner designed specifically for use in industrial environments. It provides wireless data transmission over long distances using the integrated LPWAN radio modem.
The power supply for 24-hour or longer operation is guaranteed by an internal lithium battery. This enables mobile, user-friendly working with particularly high wireless ranges.
The instant feedback for the user is provided by an acoustic signal as well as six freely configurable, multi-coloured LEDs. The SLS 200 can be adapted to a wide range of logistics processes by software. The bidirectional exchange of information between the scanner and the wireless gateway also ensures reliable and effective communication.
The SLS 200 reads 2D codes at up to 30 cm distance. The desired reading area is simply marked by destination and scanned by pressing a button. The rechargeable battery lasts longer than one shift, even in scan-intensive applications.
The scanned codes are transmitted via integrated WSNet radio modem to the central WSNet Gateway GLC 100E and processed by the WSN AMS system. The transmission in the same wireless network avoids possible delays or data loss. The ground-breaking LoRa™[1] wireless technology of the SLS 200 lets you forget the known problems of WLAN-based systems. The device does not occupy an IP address in the private address space of the LAN. In addition, radio "dead spots" and unstable connections are finally a thing of the past.
